Dans ce chalet feutré où le luxe le dispute à l’élégance, cet Ekrin trouve parfaitement sa place : on y prend l’apéritif au coin du feu, avec en fond de jolies notes échappées du piano. Aux fourneaux, on trouve le chef Laurent Azoulay, fils de restaurateurs passé à l’Oustau de Baumanière et chez Pierre Gagnaire. Il joue habilement avec les terroirs et les climats : on trouve aussi bien à sa carte les plus beaux poissons de la Méditerranée que du miel de bourgeon de sapin, du safran ou des escargots savoyards, sans oublier les légumes d’Éric Roy à Tours. Une cuisine créative et colorée, fine et délicate, qui ose des associations audacieuses.
